2021 Honda Accord

The 2021 Honda Accord comes in five main trim levels: LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition, EX-L, and Touring 2.0T. The base LX trim comes equipped with automatic LED low-beam headlights, LED taillights with integrated brake light bars, and power-adjustable side mirrors. Stepping up to the Sport trim adds automatic LED headlights, heated side mirrors, gloss-black trim with a complementary decklid spoiler, and LED fog lights.

With the Sport Special Edition, features include a smart entry with auto-locking functionality when you walk away and an active shutter grille. The upscale EX-L trim has a power moon roof, courtesy lights, and upgraded side mirrors with integrated LED turn signal indicators. The top Touring 2.0T trim boasts rain-sensing windshield wipers, chrome exhaust finishers, and passenger reverse gear tilt-down functionality.

On the lower four trim levels, the 2021 Accord comes with a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that produces 192 pound-feet of torque and 192 horsepower. It pairs with a continuously variable transmission. A sport driving mode is also standard across the board, and the Sport and Sport Special Edition come with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. At the top of the list, the Touring 2.0T has its own 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 273 pound-feet of torque and 252 horsepower. This engine works with a 10-speed automatic transmission and the top trim level also has paddle shifters.

Both turbocharged engines deliver quick acceleration and impressive power, allowing you to get up to freeway speeds quickly and efficiently. Honda eliminated the manual transmission for the 2021 model year, although the CVT with paddle shifters puts more control in your hands. Other appealing performance elements of the Accord include efficient cornering, responsive brakes, and precise steering.

Standard interior features of the LX trim include dual-zone automatic climate control, manually adjustable front seats, a four-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, an 8-inch touch screen, cloth upholstery, and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. The Sport trim adds sporty pedals, additional USB charging ports in the second row, a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, an eight-speaker audio system, and a power-adjustable driver's seat.

Step up to the Sport Special Edition and your sedan will include a power passenger's seat, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and wireless smartphone integration. Extras on the EX-L include an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 10-speaker premium sound system with a subwoofer, a universal garage door opener, and memory settings on the driver's seat. At the top of the list, the Touring 2.0T trim has ventilated front seats, a Wi-Fi hot spot, navigation, ambient interior lighting, and heated rear outboard seats.

Every 2021 Honda Accord comes with a long list of driver-assistive technologies, including adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, a rearview camera, forward collision warning with automatic braking, road-departure mitigation, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, and traffic sign recognition.
