Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a technician at Honda Marysville, you will need to take vehicles to the stall area once you receive a repair order from the dispatcher. You will then perform the work outlined on the repair order efficiently and accurately, upholding factory and dealership standards. This may include diagnosing the cause of a malfunction as well as performing the authorized repair. You will need to get the parts you need by communicating with the parts department, tagging and saving parts, and turning them in if the customer requests this. If you find any additional work that needs to be done, if you cannot complete the work within the estimated time, or if you find out that the requested service is not needed, you should immediately let the service advisor know. You should road test the vehicle to ensure that the issue has been addressed and document any work you do.

In addition, you will be required to attend regular training classes to help you stay on top of the latest updates, as well as keeping abreast of technical bulletins from the factory.
