2021 Honda Insight

There are three trims available with the 2021 Insight: the LX, the EX, and the Touring. Each trim comes standard with auto on and off LED headlights, LED taillights and brake lights, body-colored door handles and power side mirrors (with chrome accents on the Touring), and all-season tires. The LX and EX are equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, while the Touring comes with 17-inch wheels, a one-touch power moonroof, and LED fog lights. Exterior color options include Crystal Black Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, and Radiant Red Metallic.

The 2021 Honda Insight is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine with variable valve timing (VVT). This engine outputs 107 horsepower and 99 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain setup is completed by a 129-horsepower AC synchronous electric motor with a lithium-ion battery, for a net system output of 151.5 horsepower. The Insight's engine is mated to an electronic continuously variable transmission (e-CVT) with sport mode, shift-by-wire, and decelerations selectors.

The 2021 Insight's engine sends power to its front wheels and accelerates from zero to 60 miles per hour in an impressive 7.7 seconds. It's incredibly fuel-efficient and has a range of up to 583 miles. The Insight has great handling and can navigate corners graciously, thanks to the front and rear stabilizer bar. Three drive modes are available: economy (ECON), sport, and EV. A Macpherson strut front suspension and multilink rear suspension soak up bumps and imperfections on the road, providing a smooth ride.

There's seating for up to five individuals in the Insight. Style your interior in either black or ivory. The front is outfitted with bucket seats and 42.3 inches of legroom. Cloth upholstery is standard. The second row features 60/40 split-folding seats in the top two trims. Features exclusive to the Touring include heated front seats, leather-trimmed seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

You'll enjoy a comfortable ride, thanks to automatic climate control in the LX and EX. The Touring upgrades this to dual-zone automatic climate control. Connectivity features include Bluetooth connectivity, a six-speaker audio system on the LX, an eight-speaker audio system on the EX, and a premium 10-speaker audio system with a subwoofer on the Touring. The EX and Touring are equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can stay connected to your mobile apps.

Every 2021 Insight is equipped with the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistance technologies. So no matter what trim you purchase, you'll get a collision mitigation braking system, forward collision braking, a road departure mitigation system, and a traffic sign recognition system, among other handy tools. Your Insight will also come with a multiangle rearview camera, multiple airbags, and a LATCH system.
