2021 Honda Pilot

The 2021 Pilot is available in seven trim levels: the LX, EX, EX-L, Special Edition, Touring, Elite, and Black Edition. With several models to choose from, you can customize the Pilot to meet your family's driving needs and preferences.

Standard exterior features on all Pilot trim levels include rear privacy glass, an intermittent rear window wiper and washer, a security system, and LED headlights and taillights. Depending on the trim level, the Pilot features black, body-colored, or chrome door handles and a black or body-colored roofline spoiler with an integrated brake light. Upper trim levels come with LED fog lights, roof rails, a power tailgate, and a panoramic roof.

The 2021 Pilot is equipped with a V-6 engine that puts out 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The engine combines with the now-standard nine-speed automatic transmission. Upper trim levels are outfitted with a remote engine start.

With the intelligent traction management system, you can maintain better control of the Pilot in difficult driving conditions. Simply push a button to access the drive modes. You can select from snow, sand, or mud modes, depending on the Pilot's drivetrain and trim level. The intelligent traction management system comes standard on all trim levels except for the LX trim.

The 2021 Pilot has enough interior space to comfortably seat adult passengers and store cargo. This three-row SUV can seat seven or eight people, depending on the trim level since some models include second-row captain's chairs. The third row can fold flat and split 60/40 to provide you with additional cargo storage. Behind the third row, the cargo volume is 16.5 cubic feet; behind the second row, 46.8 cubic feet; and behind the first row, 83.0 cubic feet.

Standard interior features found in all trim levels include push-button start, one-touch turn indicators, rear heater ducts, a hidden storage well, cargo area tie-down anchors and bag hooks, and illuminated steering wheel-mounted controls. Upper trim levels come with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an automatic dimming rearview mirror.

The Pilot's infotainment system features Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and audio streaming, an auxiliary input jack, Speed-sensitive Volume Compensation, and USB charging ports. All trim levels, except for the LX, come with an 8-inch touch-screen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, an SMS text message function, Sirius XM, and HD radio. The Touring, Elite, and Black Edition trims further come with multizone audio, Wi-Fi hot spot capability, the CabinTalk in-car PA system, a second-row HDMI interface, and a 10.2-inch screen with a Blu-ray player and built-in streaming apps.

The 2021 Pilot is equipped with a host of standard active safety features. These include the Collision Mitigation Braking System, a road departure mitigation system, adaptive cruise control, a lane-keeping assist system, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and auto high-beam headlights. Upper trim levels also come with the blind spot information system with a cross-traffic monitor.
