Trim Levels
For 2023, the CR-V is available in EX, Sport Hybrid, EX-L, and Sport Touring Hybrid trim levels. The new styling stands out from other SUVs with its bold front fascia, sleek lighting, elegant profile, and sculpted rear end. For convenience, the CR-V offers remote entry and smart entry with walk-away auto-locking.
Standard exterior features include LED headlights and daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear roofline spoiler, LED taillights, a reverse-linked rear wiper, and body-color heated power mirrors with LED turn signals. Sport and Sport Touring models offer gloss black mirrors and roof rails, as well as dual chrome exhaust tips. The EX-L includes a programmable power tailgate, and the top trim adds rain-sensing wipers and a hands-free tailgate.
Engine
Under the hood of the CR-V EX and EX-L is a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, delivering 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. Sport and Sport Touring models feature a two-motor hybrid powertrain with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine for a system output of 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque.
Both engines are mated to a seamlessly shifting continuously variable transmission. The first three trims come standard with front-wheel drive, with the option of the all-wheel-drive system that's standard on the Sport Touring trim.
Performance
Interior
Inside the CR-V's upscale and thoughtfully designed cabin, you'll find spacious and comfortable seating for five people. Behind the rear seats, you have a 39.3 cubic-foot cargo area, while folding down the second row gives you a generous 76.5 cubic feet of space for your gear. Active noise-canceling technology helps eliminate wind and road noise to ensure a quiet ride.
The EX trim offers push-button start, a 7-inch digital instrument display, cloth upholstery, heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat, reclining rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilt and telescopic steering column, a one-touch power moonroof, and ambient center console lighting. The infotainment system features a 7-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker sound system.
Sport models add a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, while the EX-L gets an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, and an 8-speaker sound system. The range-topping Sport Touring trim gives you a heated steering wheel, full ambient lighting, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
